ADM - 'This action is not required when using aCloud Document' when entering ADM credentials

This message appears when Workspace Document Launcher version 3.10.07 is installed. This version opens a browser window and uses Access Evo credentials instead of ADM credentials. To set up a new user with this functionality:

  1. Create an Access Evo user.

  2. Ask the user to follow the instructions in the email sent to them by Access Evo.

  3. Grant the user access to Access Workspace Document.

  4. When the user next tries to view a document, they are prompted for their Workspace credentials.

To grant the user access to Access Workspace Document:

  1. Log in to Access Evo as an administrator.

  2. Click Members.

  3. Click Add.

  4. Select Using an email address.

  5. Select Add members individually.

  6. Add a message if needed.

  7. Click Add.

  8. In the top right corner, click the Members icon.

  9. Search for the user by email address.

  10. Click the three vertical dots to the right of the user's name.

  11. Click Manage Roles.

  12. Set the Document drop-down to User with client access.

  13. Click Save Changes.

If you use Access Identity features such as two-factor authentication, impersonation, federation, or Captcha, version 3.10.07 components are required. 📌 Note: A database upgrade is only needed if you are on version 2.80.04 or 3.00 — the existing 3.10 database is compatible. If you are a hosted customer who has downgraded to Workspace Document Launcher version 3.10.05, you must log out of all Access applications and log back in for the downgraded version to take effect.
