ADM - Error 'The ADM login details are incorrect'

You need access to a Dimensions Administrator account to check the ADM URL and set the ADM User for the affected user. The ADM integration uses a web service. There are two types of ADM service:

  • Access Document (also known as aCloud Document)

  • ADM (via a local network web server)

First determine the service type configured for the Dimensions database:

  1. Log in to Dimensions as an administrator.

  2. Click System > Options > System Control Options.

  3. Note the URL of ADM Webservice.

  • All Access Document customers use: https://document.accessacloud.com

  • A local network ADM installation uses a custom URL that must be accessible from the client machine.

  1. Use the Validate URL button to confirm the URL is correct and accessible from the client machine.

The next steps apply to both Access Document and local ADM web service users, and are used to validate the user's ADM credentials. 📌 Note: If you are using Access Document with ADM Launcher version 3.10.07 installed, the user is redirected to a webpage to sign in to Access Workspace rather than using this method.

  1. Click User Records in the System module.

  2. Locate and click the relevant user.

  3. Click Options, then Set ADM user.

    • 📌 Note: If ADM Launcher version 3.10.07 is installed, this option is not available.

  4. Enter the ADM user credentials (Username and Password).

  5. Click OK to validate and save the credentials.

  6. Log out of Dimensions and log back in for the changes to take effect.

Also ask your IT team to confirm the Windows Region settings on the computer are set to English (United Kingdom) and restart it if needed. For Access Document users, also follow these steps:

  1. Open a web browser and go to https://go.accessacloud.com.

  2. Log in with your ADM user credentials (Username and Password).

  3. If you see an 'I'm not a Robot' prompt, tick the box and complete it.

  4. Once logged in, return to Dimensions and try viewing a document again. Enter the ADM credentials again if prompted.

If the issue persists, contact support. See Get support in Dimensions.
