**You will need access to a Dimensions Administrator account in order to check your ADM URL, and to set the ADM User for the Dimensions User experiencing the error message.
β
The ADM integration is via a WebService, there are commonly two types of ADM services:
Access Document (also known as aCloud Document)
ADM (via a local network web server)
First determine the type of service configured for the Dimensions Database, as follows
Log in as an Administrator to your Dimensions Database
Click on System, Options, System Control Options
Note the URL of ADM Webservice
All Access Document customers URL will be https://document.accessacloud.com
A local network ADM installation will have a custom URL which should point to a valid URL accessible by the client machine.
Use the Validate URL button to validate the URL is correct and accessible from the client machine.
The Next steps are the same for Access Document and ADM (local) versions of the web service and are to validate the User's ADM credentials.
β*the only exception to this is when you are using Access Document and have a specific version of the ADM Launcher installed (which redirects the user to a webpage with which to sign in to Access Workspace, in order to validate their Access Document user record)
Click on User Records in the System module
Locate the User, highlight the User
Click Options, set ADM user
**NOTE** if you have the ADM Launcher version 3.10.07 installed as the ADM Launcher then you will not be able to use this feature to set the ADM user.
Enter the credentials of the ADM user (Username and Password)
Click on OK to validate and save the credentials
Log out of Dimensions and back in for changes to take affect
The Next step is to ask your IT to check that the Windows Region settings of your Computer are set to English(United Kingdom), and then restart your computer to take affect.
