ADM - Error - 'ADM Integration message This action is not required when using aCloud Document' when trying to enter ADM Credentials against a Dimensions Accounts User

Updated over a week ago

This error message means version 3.10.07 Workspace Document launcher is installed on the computer where the user is running Dimensions.

This version of Workspace Document launcher opens a browser window and allows you to log in with Access Evo Credentials.

For a new user to use this functionality

  1. Create an Access Evo user.

  2. Get the user to follow instructions in email sent to them by Access Evo

  3. Give the new use privileges to Access Workspace Document.

  4. When user try to view document, they will be prompted for their new workspace credential.

To this follow steps

  1. Log into Access Evo as administrator user.

  2. Click the Members button.

  3. Click the Add Button.

  4. Select option Using an email address.

  5. Select option Add members individually.

  6. Add message if required.

  7. Click Add.

  8. In the top right corner, click the Members icon.

  9. Enter user’s email address in the search bar.

  10. In list below search bar click on the 3 vertical squares right of the users name.

  11. Click on Manage Roles.

  12. Set Document Drop Down to User with client access.

  13. Click on Save Changes.

If you are using the new Access Identity functionality such as 2 Factor Authentication, Impersonation, Federation or Captcha - then you will need the 3.10.07 components installed on your computer.
Note: You will only need your database upgraded if you are on 2.80.04 or 3.00 - as the existing 3.10 database will be compatible.

If you are a hosted customer and you have downgraded Workspace Document launcher to version 3.10.05. You must log out of all Access applications and log back in to use the downgraded version of launcher.
