The enquiry screens held in Dimensions are generic screens and for the most part, the nominal enquiries hold the same selection of filters - essentially your Last, Current and Next year transactions along with an option for Earlier Years.
However, this item is not applicable in all situations, and the Trial Balance is one of these areas.
The trial balance figures are compiled from the turnover figures on your nominal accounts. Turnovers are held for last, current and next year, but not for previous years.
This means that if you try to use the Earlier Years option against the Trial Balance, you will receive a message about data, because the accounts themselves do not hold sufficient information to present you with a trial balance for previous years.
