Running an As At Period Trial Balance report before Last Year

Unfortunately you would not be able to run a trial balance as at period further back than L1. Any requirement to do so would need an old database copy that has that period within either Last, Current or Next year.
The Financials tab - Trial Balance and select Earlier Period should allow a trial balance to be reported.
