This error appears when you try to print directly to the 'Access UK Ltd. PDF Printer'. This printer is a rebadged Amyuni PDF driver designed only for Dimensions-generated emails — it cannot be used as a general printer. The redistribution licence does not allow this use, and there is no way to prevent it appearing in the printer list. The Always use printer set on Crystal Report option in System Control Options can override the printer chosen in Dimensions and use the one saved on the ACD report instead. If the ACD report is set to use the default printer, the RDP session's default printer may be used rather than the one selected in Dimensions. Try disabling this option:
Click the System tab, then click Options > System Control Options.
On the Documents tab, next to Crystal Documents, click the blue arrow.
Clear the Always use printer set on Crystal Report check box.
Click Save.
If the error persists with this option off, the selected printer may not be fully compatible with the hosted RDP servers and may be reverting to the Access UK Ltd. PDF Printer. Check the printer selection window to confirm the correct printer is still selected. Alternatively, try selecting the printer from the Page Setup window rather than before printing. The Redirected Microsoft Windows PDF Printer is a good option for testing as it does not require a physical printer. To change the printer in Page Setup:
Click the red Dimensions icon in the top left.
Click Page Setup.
Select a different printer from the Name field.
If Page Setup defaults to the Access UK Ltd. PDF printer when Dimensions starts, there may be no default printer set on your local machine — making this the RDP server's only default. In Windows 10, check the Allow Windows to manage my default printer option. If it is enabled, disable it and test again.
