To set a default printer to print documents from on a hosted system:
In Dimensions, in the top left, click the red menu icon.
Click Page Setup.
In the section labelled Printer, use the drop-down and select the printer to use as default.
Click OK.
Close and re-open Dimensions.
It may be the case that Dimensions is ignoring the default Windows Printer and so changing the Crystal Documents setting may resolve it as follows:
Click the System tab
Click Options
Open System Control Options
Click the Documents tab
Click the blue arrow adjacent to Crystal Documents
Untick the check box at the bottom for Always use printer set on Crystal Report.
Click Save for the settings on each of the dialog boxes.
Log out and back in to ensure that the latest settings are used and print again.
Additionally, for Dimensions v3.00 / Workspace hosted users, if the default printer is not saved in Dimensions, then try setting a default printer on your local computer. You can set a local default printer via Settings on your computer. You may need to deselect the Let Windows manage my default printer option first.
