Workflow Forms on Transactions
Workflow is a term used to describe the tasks, procedures, input and output information, and tools needed to complete a process. In Access Accounts, using Workflow Forms (WFF) ensures that each person handling a transaction uses the correct forms and successfully completes their step before the process proceeds to the next person or step.
Any WFF associated with the transaction will automatically display as a popup window for initial entry. Existing WFF can then be edited by clicking on the Workflow Form button. If no WFF is associated with the transaction, the window will not display.
The process of setting up Workflow Forms is beyond the scope of this Help. Please refer to the Workflow Forms Designer documentation.
WFF can be attached to:
The transaction Header - the WFF will display on initial tab off, and can also be opened by clicking the Workflow Form button.
Transaction Detail lines - the WFF will display on initial tab off to a new line, and can also be opened by clicking the Workflow Form button.
The transaction Save - the WFF will display when clicking Save.
WFF is not available on the following:
Stocktake, Sub analysis transfers, New Works order, Consolidate Requests, Stock Allocations, Bulk receipts/ Remittances, Match to Orders, Carbon Transactions, Currency Revaluations, Bank Revaluations.
