Nominal Account Detail Report
Produces a simple and clear report on Nominal Ledger Accounts, with the Transactions per account and Opening and Closing balances for the Period on which you are reporting.
The report will default to the Current period.
The Description shown is the text entered in the Detail field on the detail window (not the description from the header). This will be wrapped to ensure it can all be seen.
It is important to limit the size of the report by selecting the period you wish to report on and also limiting the range of account codes covered by the report.
The report has a Simple Search facility . This offers searching on Major Heading, Category Codes and Sub Ledger.
Use of the Search facility will save the accidental production of large unmanageable reports.
The Period, Year and Codes selected on the report window will apply when using the Simple Search.
If no Search criteria is entered, when the report starts to generate there is an active Cancel button so that you can cancel the report if you have chosen too great a range in error.
There is an additional option to Show Subtotals Only. If selected, the individual transaction lines will be suppressed and only the sub-totals will be printed.
