Reset Passwords for Hosted Users

Updated this week

Please be aware that in order to receive password expiry notifications and to be able to reset their password, the user must have enrolled themselves on the self service platform as described in this article

When a user’s password is about to expire, an automated e-mail from Access will be received, informing the user that their aCloud password is due to expire in 10 Days. These will continue to count down each day until the password is updated or eventually expires.

These emails will contain a link to the Hosted Logon Self-Service page (https://changemypassword.accessacloud.com) where a user can log in and change their password using the "Change Password" tab at the top of the screen. The on-screen instructions should make this process relatively straightforward.

If a user was not able to change their password before it expired, they can still use the Hosted Logon Self-Service page (https://changemypassword.accessacloud.com) and the "Reset Password" link on the right hand side of the page. The only difference will be that the user is unable to login to FocalPoint until this is done.
The user will not be able to use the "Reset Password" link if they have not enrolled their email address. If this is the case and the password has now expired, please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article.
