In the event that you're getting the mentioned error message, it is advised to have your IT grant the application access permission to the ADM documents folder. This is because the error is caused by the fact, the location your ADM documents are being saved, the application does not have permissions to that location and hence why when trying to create a file there, the error message is triggered.
To verify where the location is, from within Dimensions try to save a file export accordingly;
Debtors, Reports, Records, Customers List, File
Once you click on print and yes to export the file, underneath the screen, you will see the path location for Dimensions reports (which is where Dimensions is trying to create the ADM file in the ADM Documents folder).
Alternatively this may be down to the folder permissions within ADM
to check this:
Launch ADM Client application
Log in as a master user
in the System Control area, check which group holds the user that is having the issueNavigate to the
Navigate to Folder Structure, Manage Structure and right click on the folders to make sure that the groups have save permissions in the ADM folder permissions, if not, change so they have and save.
Workspace Document handles permissions in a different way as groups are used to withdraw permission rather than grant it. So a member of a group without access to a folder will not be able to access it irrespective of any other permissions they have in different groups.
