Customising the background image in Dimensions can help you identify which database you are connected to, or display company branding.

Change the default image
Follow these steps to change the default background image used across all databases on the installation.
Go to C:\Program Files\Access Applications\Dimensions\Accounts\[Version]\Background.
Locate DefaultImage.jpg.
Take a backup of the file before making changes.
Save a new image as DefaultImage.jpg, or edit the existing one. New images must be JPEG format, minimum 1026×690 pixels.
Log in to Dimensions as an administrator.
Click System, then Options.
On the System Format tab, set Background Image to <Default>. All users on this installation will now use DefaultImage.jpg.
Ensure all users on other installations have a copy of the updated file. Your IT team can distribute this, or you can copy it manually.
Set an image for a specific database
To use a different background for each database, create a separate image file for each one first.
Then follow these steps to apply an image to a specific database.
Log in to the relevant database as an administrator.
Click System, then System Control Options.
On the System Format tab, click the red text under Background Image and select the image you want to use.
Images must be placed in the Background folder to appear in the selection list.
Click Save. The new background image is applied.
Use a web URL as the background
You can use an image hosted at a web URL as the background.
Log in to Dimensions.
In the top left, click the Dimensions icon.
Click Browser Background. A Browser Background pop-up appears.
Click the red field and select Web Address.
Select the Show Browser Background check box.
Enter the web address and click the green tick icon.
