The same printer is used even though a different printer was chosen to print to

This is caused by an option in the System settings, causing the report to use the printer set on the template.

Note: This will affect all users, so only has to be done once.


To disable this follow the below:

  1. Click the System tab

  2. Click Options

  3. Open System Control Options

  4. Click the Documents tab

  5. Click the blue arrow for Crystal Documents

  6. Untick the check box at the bottom for Always use printer set on Crystal Report. Now print again, and the printer you choose will be the one used.
