This error is normally caused by the Crystal Reports path being incorrect or the is correct but Dimensions is unable to access the location.
β
You can check and correct the path as follows:
β
βRibbon navigation menus:
Select System
Select User Records
Locate and highlight the user with the issue
Select Options
Click on the blue arrow next to Crystal Reports Location and note the file path specified.
If the path is correct, then it is possible that there is a permissions issue with access to that folder. Your IT support should be able to resolve the permission issue.
If the path is incorrect and needs amending, maybe to match the same path as for a working user, then you can change it as follows:
Close the window displaying the path
Click Edit
Click again on the blue arrow next to Crystal Reports Location
Edit the file path as required
Click OK (if you get a message saying the path is invalid, then it may still be wrong)
Click OK
Click Yes
The user will need to log out of and back in to Dimensions to pick up the changes
βClassic/Module Menus navigation menus:
Select System Control from the navigation bar
Select Users, User Records
Follow the steps as above from point 3.
