Error 'An Internal Error has Occurred' when trying to print

This error can sometimes be caused by the crystal reports print engine version, and can be resolved by changing it to be crystal v9 on the machine affected using the following steps:

  1. Go to windows 'add or remove programs' and find the dimensions app and select 'Modify'

  2. On the wizard click Next, then choose Modify.

  3. On the custom setup screen, disable crystal v11 by clicking on it and selecting 'this feature will not be available' while enabling crystal v9 by clicking on it and selecting 'this feature will be installed on local hard drive'.

  4. Click Next and then Install, this will modify Dimensions to use crystal version 9.
