There are two ways of moving users between security profiles in Dimensions - via the Security Profiles and via the User account, as described below.
If using Access Evo/Citrix hosted Dimensions (version 3.0), then use the Security Profile method.
Security Profile
Navigate to System, Profiles (ribbon menu) or System Control, Users, Security Profiles (classic/module menu)
User either the Find function of the green left and right arrows to load the profile you wish to move the user into
Select the Users button.
Select the relevant user from the Other Users list and use the green arrow to add them to the security profile
Once the user logs out and back into Dimensions, they will be in the new security profile.
User Record
Select System, Users (ribbon menu) or System Control, Users, User Records (module/classic menu)
Locate the relevant user in the list, and select Edit
Remove the entry from the profile field at the bottom of the User Record screen
Select the magnifying glass
Double-click the relevant profile name
Once the user logs out and back into Dimensions, they will be in the new security profile. Please note that moving a user to a new profile may reset the user's previous selected transaction options, for example batching of Sales Invoices. So, you should get the user to check their preferred transaction options after logging back in to Dimensions.
