This enables you to view and Edit the Local Data file.

The Local Data file for your Access Accounts software holds information about Users, Databases and Servers. It is located in the same directory folder as the Access Accounts software.

It retains the information that is displayed on the Log In window:

The Servers to which the software has been connected and the Data Link used.

The Databases on the Server

The Users records for each Database.

It is from this file that the list of existing databases, displayed when you click on the Change Database icon on the Log In window, is created.

If the accounts software is to be used on multiple terminals, the Local Data file can be set up on one and copied to all terminals; this ensures that everyone is using the same data.

User records should be changed from User Records and not from this window.
