WO Creation Wizard - (Sales Order) Suggested Quantities
This is the fifth window of the Works Order Creation Wizard when the Sales Order method has been selected. See New Works Order.
On this window you can view the production quantities, suggested by the system, based on the selected Sales orders and all the requirements you have entered in the wizard.
The different products required to fulfil the selected Sales Orders will be listed. From these, you can drill-down to view the Sales Orders that will be filled if the suggested quantities are built.
You can untick both individual Sales Orders and entire Stock items, to prevent them progressing to the Works Order generation.
Review the suggested quantities and press Next.

Suggested Quantities
The quantities in the Suggested Quantities window cannot be changed, you must untick the Stock items and Sales Orders that you do not want to progress to the Works Order generation. The quantity detail is displayed in tabular format and includes the following information.
Requirement
This is the quantity needed to fulfil the selected outstanding Sales Orders.
In Stock
The quantity displayed here will be Physical or Free stock, depending on the 'Show Quantity as' setting selected in Stock Options.
To take advantage of the Suggestion Rules, such as 'Consider free stock available to meet requirement', you may wish to review the system setting you have chosen.
Free WIP
This is the quantity of the stock item that is available on other Works Orders that could be utilised to fulfil the requirement of the Sales Orders.
Suggested
This is the build quantity, suggested by the wizard, that will fulfil the requirement of the selected Sales Orders. This quantity takes into account all the rules you have selected and the information you have provided.
The system will do it's best to suggest a suitable build quantity, but you may find that with some combinations of rules and system settings, especially if your Free Stock calculation method includes Unallocated Orders, this quantity may be over stated. This can be adjusted on the suggested Works Orders window which appears next.
Min Stock / Max Stock
These quantities are for information only, to show the minimum and maximum stock levels set on the Stock records.
Min Build / Batch Qty
These quantities are taken from the BoM on the Stock record and are for information only.
Over Build
This is the suggested quantity by which you should increase your production to meet any production rules you have specified.
Required By
When you drill-down to view the Sales Orders, this column will contain the Required By date from the Sales Order.
Command buttons
The Next and Back buttons, at the foot of the windows, are used to move through the wizard.
If you use the Back button and then return to this window, the list will be rebuilt and any changes you had made to the selections will be lost.
This is based on the assumption that you moved back through the wizard to amend the rules or add supplementary information.
The Cancel button can be used to cancel the process and close the wizard.
