Installing and using Dimensions Plug-Ins
This topic describes how to install and register Plug-Ins for Dimensions.
Download Plug-In
First, you will need to download the correct plug-ins for your version of Dimensions. You can do this by going to the customer area of the Access website. Once you have done this, you will need to find and run the installation file which is likely to be in your default download location (typically this will be your %systemroot%:\Users\%YourName%\Downloads).
Installation Folder
Follow the on screen instructions to install the Plug-In.
At the "Select Installation Folder" step you will need to click "Browse..." and select the folder where Dimensions is installed; by default this is "%systemroot%:\Program Files (x86)\Access Applications\Dimensions\Accounts"; if your installation differs, this information can be found on the Dimensions About window.
Click "OK" to select the folder, and then click "Next" to continue to the next step of the installation.
Continue through the rest of the installation steps which will start the installation.
When installation has finished, click "Close".
Now that the plug-ins have been installed, you need to apply them.
Registering the Plug-In
To register your Plug-In, browse to the location where you installed them (the same place you browsed to above) and double-click on the file called "plugin_unlock_entry.exe". This opens a window where you can enter your unlock details: Unlock details can be obtained by contacting your Access Support Representative.
Once you have entered these you can click "Accept".
The plug-in will now be registered and you can open Dimensions as normal. This should give you a message to say that the plug-ins are being installed and patched.
Once this is finished, you should be able to login as normal.
