Access Office Integration

Access Office Integration

Access Office Integration enables you to link your Access Accounts to Microsoft Office products for a fully integrated work flow.

Using the latest Smart Tags and COM add-in technology, Access Office Integration gives you the closest level of integration with Microsoft Office. A simple 2-way link enables you to summon live accounts data into your favourite Microsoft environments and to work on this data using familiar Microsoft tools.

It can also be used to enable members of staff who do not have direct access to your Dimensions accounts to retrieve information from your accounts data.

Some features available in Access Office Integration

One of the features of Access Office Integration is the Quick Find Bar which enables you to retrieve information from your accounts data into the Microsoft Office applications you use every day.

Another feature, Attach Documents to Dimensions, enables you to attach documents to records within Dimensions accounts data from the originating Microsoft Office Application without the need of having the Dimensions application installed or running. In reverse, you are also able to Open a Dimensions attachment.

Microsoft Outlook Integration

Enables you to add tasks to the Outlook Today window directly from the Accounts system. In this way, Users can be prompted to react to the requirements of the Accounts system.

The Outlook Today functionality is only compatible with Outlook and not Outlook Express.

Microsoft Excel Integration
