Chase Debtors - Summary View
When you select the Chase Debtors option, you will be prompted to run a search to build a chase list to work from. If you select to view this list in the Summary View, the Chase Debtors Summary window will open; alternatively, you can view the Aged Analysis. From this window, you can also select to Attach Documents.
This window lists the debtor information for the Customers that have matched the search criteria you entered.
If you wish to refine the search or run a different search, the search window can be re-opened by clicking the Search icon.
From this window you can:
View Customer account details enabling you to contact the Customer whilst viewing their account balance,
View Sales transactions and outstanding orders,
Reprint an invoice or credit note,
Enter a receipt, allocate payments or correct existing allocations,
Print a statement or send a letter,
Put an account On Stop,
Update the Next Contact Date for the Customer and update the diary,
Enter a date and value for any promised payments that result from your call.
The order of the information in the window can be changed by clicking on the column headings. When first opened, the data is sorted by Customer Code.
Attach Document
The Attach Document window can be opened from the right- click menu on the Chase Debtors - Summary and Aged Analysis windows.
From this window, you can attach a document file to the record of the currently selected Customer.
To attach a document:
On the Attach Document window, click the Browse button to search for the file you wish to attach to the selected record. The details of the Access Accounts module, Record and Transaction will be shown in the upper right pane for the selected Customer.
Select the file. The location path for the selected file will be shown in the text box at the bottom of the window.
Clicking on the search button enables you to view the file contents.
Enter the Description for the file.
Click on the OK button to attach the file.
The list of documents already attached to the selected record can be seen by clicking the Documents icon on the window toolbar.
