The below only applies to users who are SQL authenticated. If your user accounts are windows authenticated, then they will not need to enter a password and any password settings needed should be controlled by the person or department responsible for your windows users.

Passwords can also be manually reset through the SA user and following the steps below:
Log in to Dimensions using SA credentials.
Select System Control.
Click User Records.
Select the user required.
Click the Options icon.
Click the Edit icon.
Enter the new password.
Click the OK icon.
The user can also do this themselves by the following the steps below:
Log in to Dimensions.
Click on the Dimensions icon in the very top left of the screen.
From the list, select Change Password.
Enter the current password in the Old Password field.
Then complete the New Password and Confirm New Password fields.
Click the green tick OK icon.
