InXL Get Data is not pulling the updated major heading category code

📌 Note: In Dimensions, changing a Major Heading under the Nominal Ledger Chart of Accounts does not affect the following:

Nominal Ledger
Settings
Categories
Accounts (selecting and editing an account)

Changes to the Major Heading in the Chart of Accounts do not affect the Major Heading in the Nominal Ledger Settings categories, and vice versa. The Nominal Ledger Categories Settings are only used as defaults when building new nominal charts — they are not applied to existing accounts. The AOI INXL Get Data report does not reflect changes made in the Categories section of Nominal Ledger Settings. To update the Major Heading on existing accounts:

Click Chart of Accounts.
Expand the existing built chart.
Select the accounts required.
On the ribbon, click View.
Click View Record.
On the Details tab, change the Major Heading code.
📌 Note: The Reporting Code under the Settings tab updates automatically to match the Major Heading Code.
Click Save.

The AOI INXL Get Data report reads data from the active existing accounts in the Chart of Accounts. Changes made within the Chart of Accounts are reflected when the Get Data report is refreshed. If you have followed the correct process but the report still does not reflect the changes, contact support to run scripts on the database. See Get support in Dimensions.
