Windows authenticated logon 'Database name does not exist or you do not have permission to access it'

Updated this week

The most common cause of this error is that the name change made in active directory has not replicated to your SQL server.

In order to address this, please speak with your IT department as they will need to ensure that the log on recognised by your SQL server has changed to reflect the active directory update. While Dimensions will recognise the name change has been made in active directory, the user will not be able to log into Dimensions until your SQL sever has been updated with the same change.
