Error - 'The ACD Print Job has failed' when emailing remittances

The SMTP server settings must be correctly specified.

In a hosted environment we strongly recommend using a server name rather than a specific IP address. Our SMTP service provider can change the associated IP address without prior notification, so using a name instead ensures that it will always resolve correctly.

To set the address correctly:

  1. Click System, Options, System Control Options (Ribbon) or click System Control, System Options (Classic)

  2. Click System Format, System E-Mail Defaults

  3. Click the computer icon

  4. In the SMTP Server Settings dialog box, enter theaccessgroup.smtp.com in the address field

  5. Click OK.

  6. Click OK.
