Security Profile - Multi Period Posting
The Multi Period Posting option, on the Security Profiles window, enables you to set the posting privileges for the currently selected security profile.
In the Security Profiles window, select the profile for which you wish to set posting privileges and click Edit.
Click the Multi Period Posting icon on the toolbar of the Security Profiles window.
On the Multi Period Posting window, tick the box associated with the Ledger or Module for which you wish to allow future period posting.
Additional entry fields will be displayed.
Enter the number of periods ahead for which posting is to be permitted.
Tick the Current Year Only option to restrict forward posting to the current year only.
Close the window and save the changes by clicking OK on the Security Profiles window.
Users who have this security profile will be able to use future period posting the next time they log on to the accounts.
Period and Year selection options will now be available on transaction header windows and on batch posting and other similar windows for Users with this profile.
