Security Profile - Corrections Security

Access to the various areas of the Correction Module is controlled by setting the appropriate privileges. To access this window you must be logged in as a user who has rights to do so, this means that only a System Admin or Database Owner can have access to the Audit Trail and System Settings. Without these permissions, Data Utilities - Corrections is hidden.

For initial setup, you must be logged in as System Admin (sa).

Because access to the Corrections Module is governed by Access Accounts Security Profiles, you must make sure that these are set up correctly. To control access to the Corrections Module we recommend that you create new Security Profiles and grant access only to those Users who are authorised to use the Corrections Module.

Corrections Security

To edit the privileges which are currently setup for a given Security Profile:

  1. In Security Profiles select and Edit the profile,

  2. From the Profile task ribbon select Corrections,

  3. In the footer of the Corrections Security window, you can click Select All to grant access to all Menu items (or De-select All to remove access from all), or you can manually click on a Menu item to view child menus and Options.

  • If a Menu item is set to No Access, click on the red cross to enable it and expand the child menu. Each time you enable a menu, it expands to the child menu.

  • A red cross indicates No Access

  • A green tick indicates Full Access

Close the window to return to the Security Profiles window, where you can click OK to save all the changes made, or Cancel to discard your changes.
