Stock - Linked Items

Linked items are identified in the Stock Record list and the Price Record list by the presence of the Linked items symbol. To view the items that are linked to the one you have selected in the list, select Linked Items from the right-click menu to open the Linked Items window.
When entering Sales or Purchase Orders or Stock Movements, the stock or price list can be opened by clicking on the search function alongside the code field.
Clicking on the stock or price record will highlight it in the list; a double click will select the item and add it to the transaction.
When a Linked stock or price item is added to a transaction, a detail line will be automatically generated for each of the items to which it is linked.
If the stock or price record you have selected is flagged Bundle - do not include main item, no detail line will be generated for that stock or price record item. Otherwise, a detail line for the selected stock or price record will be generated in addition to those for the linked items.
For Stock records only, double clicking on a stock record that has linked items, as indicated by the function, will open a Default Quantity window showing a default quantity of 1.
Enter the quantity required.
When you click OK to accept the quantity, detail lines will automatically be generated for all the items linked to the selected item with the quantities multiplied by the quantity entered.
If you click Cancel, a single detail line will be added to the transaction for the selected item only.
Selecting multiple items - Use the Ctrl key with a click to select multiple stock items and the Shift key with a double click to add them to the transaction.
