APM Wizard (Start)
Select what you wish to process:
Modify / Delete, or Exclude an existing price list.
Create a new price list.
Import a price list.
When ready, click Next to enter the basic information for the Price List.
Modify / Delete existing price list
A list of existing price lists is displayed. You can filter this list by selecting to Exclude expired or inactive price lists or both.
Modify
Locate and select (highlight) the price list that you wish to modify and click Next. This will take you through the wizard so that you can change the criteria the price list is using.
Delete
Locate and select (highlight) the price list that you wish to delete and click Delete. You will be asked to confirm that you do wish to delete the selected price list before it is deleted.
Duplicate
Locate and select (highlight) the price list that you wish to duplicate and click Duplicate. A copy of the price list will be loaded in the wizard for you to amend. You should change the name of the price list to ensure you can identify it and make any other changes you require. The duplicated list will not be saved until you proceed through the wizard to the Finish option.
Search
The price lists using the Attributes feature can be located by searching for these attributes. Click on the Search function to enter the search criteria. Price Lists that have matching attribute values are displayed.
Create new price list
Select this option and then press Next to build a new price list. The wizard will guide you through the process of creating a price list.
Import price list
Price lists can be imported from a file that is in tab delimited format:
The easiest way to create this kind of file is to build a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet and save it in this format.
The columns you require are described in the Import Price List topic.
The basic settings for each price list will require one row in the spreadsheet.
The Customer and Sub Analysis selection criteria are entered as a string in a column and can be placed on the same row as the basic settings.
For Products, you will have to enter a row for each product selection, just as you do when creating the price list using the wizard.
The pricing information for the first Product can be placed in same row as the settings and Customer information.
Subsequent Product rows must contain a zero in the 'Reset price list' column. This indicates the row is an amendment to the price list.
The file must not contain any header rows, so build the spreadsheet with a header row and delete it before saving the file in tab delimited format.
Use the Browse button to locate the file.
Click Next to import the file. A message will confirm the file has been imported.
