Price Matrix - Wizard (Products)
This window enables you to select the Products to be included in the price list.
Products can be selected by Sort Key, User Sort 1 to 3, or Stock Code.
Available Products
Select the search method you wish to use from the drop down list.
If you have used the Access Accounts Language feature to name the Sort Key and User Sort 1 to 3 fields, these are the names you will see here.
If you select Code, a search window will open prompting you to enter search criteria to locate a group of products. The search window will open automatically if this option is selected in the matrix settings. Otherwise, click the Look-up function to open the search window.
The products that match the search criteria will be displayed in the left-hand pane.
To exclude a product, or a group of products with the same classifications, tick the Exclude option before moving the criteria to the right-hand list.
For example, you might want to include all products classified as from France but exclude those with a Category of CHAMPAGNE.
Selected Products
Select values from the left-hand list and move them to the right-hand list to include products that match the criteria in the price list.
If more than one value is selected, the search will be an OR search and products that match any of the values will be included in the price list.
For example, you could include the User Sort 2 value FRANCE and the User Sort 2 value ITALY. Then the price list will include all products that have either of these User Sort 2 values.
If the Apply to Products Matching all Criteria option is set on this window, then when more than one value is selected, the search will act as an AND search. Only products that match all the values will be included in the price list.
For example, you could include the User Sort 2 value FRANCE and the User Sort 3 value CHABLIS. Products in the price list will match both classifications.
Next
Click Next to add the Sub Analysis filter or to select the Price List Type for the price list.
If you selected to Filter by Sub Analysis on the Price List step, the Next option will take you to the Sub Analysis window.
Otherwise, the structure of the next wizard window will depend on the on the Price List Type selected on the Price List step: Standard; Buy One Get One Free or Whole Order Discounts.
