Price Changes
Here you can change the Selling or Buying Price of many Stock Records at once.
Prices changed using this feature will not update dependent prices. For example, if Price Line 2 has an uplift of 10% on Price Line 1, and Price Line 1 is changed using this feature - Price Line 2 would not be updated to reflect the change.
Price Change For
The top half of the window enables you to select the Stock Records that will be updated. You can enter one or both criteria or leave the selection empty to update all records in one go.
Prices to Update
In the lower part of the window, you should select which prices you wish to update. You can only select one set of prices at a time.
Sell Price / Cost Price
These options apply changes to the main Buying or Selling price, the one which appears on the main Stock Record window.
You can change the price by an Uplift or a Deduction percentage of it’s current value.
Selling Price Table / Buying Price Table
These options will display replicas of the Selling or Buying Price Table windows, those available from the main Stock Record.
Each of the ten price lines can be entered in the same way as on the main Stock Record.
If a field is left empty, the Price Change routine will not change that field, leaving the existing value untouched.
Double click on a line to select it for changing; this will set the NO status flag to YES. Only price lines that are set to YES will be updated.
The buttons above the status flag column will set all the flags, toggling them from NO to YES and vice versa, or just the flag for the currently selected price line.
The Prices Changes replica of the Selling Prices Table. and includes Price Description and the Sales Unit and it's description.
The Prices Changes replica of the Buying Prices Table will include the default Supplier, the Buy Unit and it's description, and the Minimum Order Quantity.
For both Buying and Selling prices, the Price Method menu will contain the same options as when the Prices Table is used from the Stock Record.
