View Transaction window

View Transaction window

The View Transaction window can be opened from most Enquiry windows, and is found on the right-click menu opened from the Transaction Header row and from a Detail Line row.

The View Transaction window has three variations: the first when opened from the Nominal Ledger; the second when opened from Stock Transactions; the third when opened from any other units.

All of these windows display additional details from the selected Transaction.

The windows have an Edit option that enables you to change any of the information in the editable (white) boxes.

Nominal Ledger:

When the window is opened from a Transaction Header, the Detail is taken from the first detail line of the transaction.

Stock Transactions:

The View Movement option on the right-click menu opened from a Detail Line row enables you to open the View Movement window.

Other units:

The Description is taken from the Transaction Header field of the same name.

If you Dispute a transaction and are using Query Types, you are prompted to choose a reason for why the transaction is being queried. This reason can then be used to group transactions for later analysis. the Notes will show the date and time of when the Notes were last updated and by whom, whether the Query Status has been set, and which Query Status was used. When in Edit mode, you are able to update the Notes, can clear the Disputed status, or set the Disputed status with-or-without selecting a Query Type from the Query Details for Invoice dialog.

The Notes field is provided for you to add notes about the transaction; for example, you may want to enter notes on transactions that are overdue or in dispute. When using Query Types the Notes also shows the reason that has been chosen, the Query Status, the date and time, and the User ID of each update; you can append to the Query Type notes.

These notes can be printed on the Overdue Invoices Report by selecting the option on the Report Output selection window.

If there is any Carbon Transaction added with this source transaction then you can view the Carbon Transaction by clicking on the drill icon however you will not be able to edit that Carbon Transaction.
