New Database - Country Settings

This is the second window of the New Database Setup Wizard. You should now select the country settings for your new database.

Most of these settings integral to the database and cannot be changed after the database has been created.
A list of the countries in the EU is provided.
If you select a country from the list, the remaining settings will be changed to the correct defaults for that country and the database will record that the Home country is an EU State for export purposes.
If the country you require is not shown in the list, select Other. You will then be able to enter the field values you require.
When ready, you can move on to create your Nominal Structure.

Default menu

For Dimensions the default menu is not active but is set to Manual Set-up... only.

Dimensions Lite users are offered an immediate set up for UK and Rep. of Ireland companies.

Select your country from the list. The list contains existing EU countries and an alternative selection of Other.

On selection of a country from the list, the default settings for the selected country will be displayed below the list with the option to Change Settings.
The selection of Other will open the Country Settings window to enable you to enter the settings for the country.

This enables you to create a Non EU State country record or a new EU State country record.

Clicking on the Change Settings text opens Country Settings window so that you can review and change the settings.

These settings will be your Home Defaults. Click Accept to save the settings and return to the main wizard window.
