Multiple Due Dates

Multiple Due Dates

You must enable the Multiple Due Date option. If your transaction is a sales transaction then this will now be aged by the multiple due dates and values.

Transactions are entered as normal. When processing transactions if you have the Multiple Due Date option switched on, you will additionally see an option for Multiple Due Dates and a window to set the dates and payment values.

Multiple Due Dates Processing

  • Begin an Invoice as usual.

  • From the Header toolbar, select Options

  • Tick the checkbox Enter Due Date and Receipt Date

  • Close the Options window

  • On the invoice, new fields appear: Multiple Due Dates, Due Date, and Anticipated Receipt Date.

  • Complete the date fields as appropriate

  • Tick the Multiple Due Dates checkbox

  • Save the Invoice (or click the drill button adjacent to the checkbox): the Multiple Due Dates window opens

  • Complete the Deposit % or Value £ field.

  • The Start Date field is pre-filled based on the Invoice Due Date field

  • Complete the Payments field. The system automatically calculates the instalment amounts.

Note: The calculated dates can be amended if, for example, they fall on a Bank Holiday. The calculated amounts can also be amended if, for example, you want to round the instalments.
