Insert Mailing Labels

Insert Mailing Labels

You have the option of printing labels, for particular categories of address, for each Customer and Supplier and of adding information by ticking the relevant box, or omitting information by clearing it.

This option is intended for A4 sheets of labels and you should open the configuration window to set the sizes of the labels and the number of labels per sheet.

Mailing Labels

The Mailing Labels option will open a report output window. Here you can select the output medium: Screen; Printer; File etc. and also use the Simple Search to locate particular addresses and the Sort Order option to select the order in which the records are printed.

Configuration window

This window enables you to set the label specifications in centimetres or inches.

Select the measurement scale you are using: centimetres or inches.

Repeat Factor Here you can set the number of times each individual address will be printed.

Labels Across Page This is specific to the type of labels you are using. You should set it accordingly.

The Label Width and Label Height refer to the distance between the labels and not the actual width and height of the labels.

The Label Width field is the distance between the left-hand edge of one label and the left-hand edge of the label on its right.

The Label Height field is the distance between the top edge of one label and the top edge of the label below it.

Use the Set as Default icon to save the current configuration settings. The settings will be saved by the system so that you can get back to these settings after making temporary changes. The settings will be saved until such time as a new set of configuration settings is saved by clicking the Set as Default icon again.

Use the Reset to default button to return the settings to the default configuration.
