What's new?

We're excited to announce the release of Dimensions Cloud 3.0. This release marks the introduction of the next generation of screens for our Dimensions users, bringing an intuitive interface and powerful features to enhance your user experience and streamline your workflow.

Included in this release are the following modules:

  • Debtors

  • Creditors

  • Financials

  • Selling

  • Purchasing

  • Costing

Dimensions Cloud 3.0 screens and key features

The new screens are focused on delivering an improved workflow and experience across each screen. This bundle of our Dimensions Cloud screens includes:


Debtors Module

  • Customers

  • Sales Transaction enquiry

  • Sales Analysis Transactions enquiry

  • Aged Debt enquiry

  • Outstanding Sales Orders enquiry

  • Sales Order Preview Delivery History enquiry

Customers

This initial release introduces a comprehensive set of features and functionalities aimed at providing you with robust customer management capabilities.

From the customer screen, you're able to do actions such as:

  • Have an overview of your customer records.

  • Create a new customer record.

  • Delete an existing customer record.

  • Update/ Edit an existing customer record.

  • Search through the existing customer records.

  • Access different enquiry screens related to a specific customer record.

  • Configure the overview grid.

  • Export customer records to Excel.

Note: Access to the Customer Records screen, including the ability to create new customer records and edit existing ones, is only available to users who have specific permissions for the Customers module in the Dimensions security profile, for now.

Suppliers

This initial release introduces a comprehensive set of features and functionalities aimed at providing you with robust supplier management capabilities.

From the supplier screen, you're able to do actions such as:

  • Have an overview of your supplier records.

  • Create a new supplier record.

  • Delete an existing supplier record.

  • Update/ Edit an existing supplier record.

  • Search through the existing supplier records.

  • Access different enquiry screens related to a specific supplier record.

  • Configure the overview grid.

  • Export supplier records to Excel.

Note: Access to the Supplier Records screen, including the ability to create new supplier records and edit existing ones, is only available to users who have specific permissions for the Customers module in the Dimensions security profile, for now.

Enquiries

We've designed the enquiries screen with a modern style grid and action panel. The enquiries screens in this release are:


Debtors Module

  • Sales Transaction, Sales Analysis Transactions, Aged Debt, Outstanding Sales Orders, Sales Order Preview Delivery History.

Creditors Module

  • Purchase Transactions, Purchase Analysis Transactions, Aged Credit, O/S Purchase Orders, Purchase Order Preview Delivery History.

Financials Module

  • Nominal Transactions, Balance Sheet, Trial Balance Summary, NFP Summary, NFP Summary (All Periods), NFP Summary (Comparison)

Selling Module

  • Outstanding Orders.

Purchasing Module

  • Outstanding Orders.

Costing Module

  • Costing Transactions, Outstanding Sales Orders, Outstanding Purchase Orders.

All enquiry screens follow a consistent design and workflow, enhancing user experience and ensuring consistency throughout.

Advanced filtering

You can apply advanced filters to refine search results based on specific criteria.

Saved filters

Conveniently save frequently used filters for quick access to tailored data views

Search functionality

Utilises the search option to quickly locate specific records.

Customisation of columns

Tailors the display of information by customising the column visibility and order according to individual preferences.

Sortable column

Easily sort data in ascending or descending order based on a specific column.

Column-based filtering

Filters data by column headers to narrow down search results.

Selected Totals Display

Selected totals of the selected columns are displayed on each summary row.

Group Columns

Easily group columns and access each grouping level from anywhere on the screen, enhancing your workflow and efficiency.

Pinned Actions

Row selection and Detail actions are now pinned to the left of the screen, for easier reading of the screen.

Export to Excel

Seamlessly export enquiry results to Excel format for further analysis and reporting.

Integrated Document Viewer

Streamlined workflow between Dimensions Cloud and Document, providing end users with a single solution from their Finance system. Easily view financial documents from within the product. This centralised access eliminates the need to download or switch between multiple applications.

Quickly pinpoint documents using the comprehensive search feature allowing easier retrieval of documents, ensuring they can find the information they need quickly.

View document previews within Dimensions without the need to download multiple documents to find the correct one.

Dimensions Cloud 3.0 Digital Assistant

The Digital Assistant feature includes short walkthroughs and provides direct access to help articles or user guides for all your screens.
