The Aged Credit Enquiry screen

An overview of the Aged Credit Enquiry screen, covering how to access it directly from the Creditors module or from a specific supplier record, and how aged transactions are displayed and grouped by configurable ageing periods.

All our enquiries and record lists share the same screens and the same functionality for consistency purposes. For more information on the layout and functionality of the screen, please refer to Purchase Transactions Enquiry screen article.

There are two different ways to get to the Aged Credit Enquiry screen, one through the menu options and another from a specific supplier.

Access the Aged Credit Enquiry directly from the Creditors module

  1. Click Creditors then click Aged Credit.

  2. Note: The Aged Credit screen opens listing every aged transaction for all customers on your sales ledger. You can narrow down you search using advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the 3 small horizontal lines and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

Access the Aged Credit Enquiry directly from a supplier

  1. Click Debtors then click Suppliers.
    Note: All suppliers are displayed. You can narrow down you search using advanced filters. You can also search on the columns directly by pointing the mouse to the name of the column and click on the 3 small horizontal lines and choose from the available filter list, then click OK.

  2. Select the checkbox in front of a supplier you wish to see the aged debt transactions for.
    Note: The Action Panel automatically opens from the right-hand side of the screen.

  3. Select the Aged Credit card to open the Aged Credit screen opens listing every aged transaction for the selected supplier.

The Aged Credit Enquiry shows the current supplier's aged analysis and the ageing periods reflect your selection in ageing method in system options.

You may have chosen to age your debtors balance by months or a different breakdown of days:

  • Up to 30 Days

  • 31 - 61 Days

  • 61 - 90 Days

  • 91 - 120 Days

  • 121 - 180 Days

  • Over 180 Days

Or

  • This Month

  • Last Month

  • Two Months Ago

  • Three Months Ago

  • Four Months Ago

  • Over Five Months Ago

You can set a transaction on dispute by selecting the checkbox against the transaction on the On Dispute column and selecting a query reason.

To remove the dispute flag, click on the selected checkbox against a disputed transaction. If the on-dispute column is not displayed as a default, you can add it through the Configure Columns under the cog icon.
