Check your load behavior is set to three

One reason your Access tab may not appear is down to your load behavior. You want to make sure that your load behavior is set to three.

To do this:

  1. Click Start then search Run.

  2. Click Enter then enter regedit.

  3. Click OK then click Yes.

  4. Select HKEY_CURRENT_USER then select Software.

  5. Select Microsoft then select Office.

  6. Select Excel then select Addins.

  7. Select Access Office Integration For Microsoft Excel <Office Version>.

  8. Check LoadBehavior is set to three.

  9. If not, select LoadBehavior then right-click and select Modify.

  10. In Value Data, enter 3 then click OK.

  11. Click Microsoft Excel and check the Access tab is present.
