In order to disable the Period End button, you need to edit the Security Profiles, please follow the steps below:
Open Dimensions.
Go to System.
Click Profiles.
Select the profiles you want to edit.
Click Edit.
Go through all the ledgers and disable Period End by clicking the green tick next to it.
Once you have a red cross next to Period End, this will then be disabled from the profiles.
Click Save.
