BACS export file format required

Updated over a week ago

A number of BACS export formats are provided with Access Dimensions as a default. However, these may not contain the correct field of format that you need.

A breakdown of the BACS formats is provided within the help files for Access Dimensions. The help files will go into detail regarding what will actually be provided by your bank.

If the bank you need to use is not specifically listed as a BACS format, you can compare the mapping file (this should be provided by your bank) with the help files to establish whether or not you can use one of the existing formats.

However, if the bank you wish to use is not listed, and the existing formats do not meet the specification provided by your bank, you will need to arrange for a BACS format to be written for you that can then be added to Dimensions.

You can arrange for a BACS format to be written for you by contacting your Access Account Manager or CSM (please be aware that you will need to provide a copy of the mapping file from your bank so that the format can be written for you).
