Crystal Report templates can be edited to update text fields, such as a company address or name. The steps depend on whether you are hosted by Access or running the software on-premise.
Hosted by Access
If you are hosted by Access, you cannot access the .rpt files directly. Contact the support team to request the change.
When contacting support, include the name of the report (for example, Invoice1.rpt or delivery.rpt) and a clear description of the change needed.
Support can carry out minor amendments. More complex changes require a consultant, which can be arranged through your Account Manager or CSM.
If you're using Dimensions version 3.0, you can access your Dimensions files where the reports are located.
Click Access Button on Workspace.
Click Dimensions Files.
If Dimensions Files does not appear in the drop-down, an administrator needs to grant you access via the Manage User Roles section in Evo.
On-premise
To edit a Crystal Report template on-premise, you will need a access to a Crystal Report editor.
Finding your report files
Crystal Report templates are stored in the Access Reports folder. The default location is C:\Program Files (x86)\Access Applications\Dimensions\Accounts\DimensionsVersion\ACD\SQL.
Common template names include:
Invoice1.rpt
Invoice2.rpt
delivery.rpt
SOPConfm.rpt
Editing an existing text field
Use these steps to change the content of a text field that already exists on the report.
Open the .rpt file in Crystal Reports Professional.
Double-click the text field you want to change.
Edit the text.
Save the file.
Adding a new text field
Use these steps to place a brand new text field on the report.

Go to Insert and select Text Object.
Place the object in the correct position on the report.
Double-click the object and enter your text.
Save the file.
Minor and complex changes
Support can assist with minor on-premise amendments. More complex changes require a consultant, which can be arranged through your Account Manager or CSM.
