Error: 'The underlying connection was closed unexpectedly' when loading inXL data

📌 **Note:** Ensure you are on the latest version of AOI, as it includes performance improvements. Contact support if you need to upgrade. If AOI is up to date, this is a performance issue caused by the volume of data being requested. It can depend on the server resources available and the number of users with active connections in Excel at the same time. To prevent this, try the options below.

  • Use additional filters in the template to narrow down and specify the data required.

  • Set the period range as L1 to N12 and add the appropriate category filters. This takes a short while but the data should come through. Note that it won't appear in the format of a pivot table.

  • Create a custom view to pull the required data in a format optimised for performance. This requires consultancy, which may be chargeable. Contact your account manager to proceed.
