WO Allocations
If you are using the Works Order Processing module, the Stock Allocation Selection window will have two tab cards and additional tick boxes (as shown below). This is to enable you to allocate stock to your works orders.
You may select to include Sales Orders only, Works Orders only or both (tick both boxes).
The Works Order tab card contains the search criteria fields to be applied when retrieving Works Orders.
The Auto Allocate Method and Auto Allocate Options relate to both Sales Orders and Works Orders.
Search criteria
Estimated Finish Date | Enter a range of dates: from and to. |
Top Level WO Number | Enter a range of Top Level Works order numbers: from and to. |
Works Order Number | Enter a range of Works Order numbers: from and to. |
Assembly Stock Code | Enter, or select from the look-up list, the Stock code. |
Component Stock Code | Enter, or select from the look-up list, the Stock code. |
Route Code | Enter, or select from the look-up list, the Route code |
Works Order Sort Key | Enter a Sort Key |
Order Priority | Enter a range of priority levels: from and to. |
Display
To display Works Orders that require allocation of Stock:
Tick the Include: Works Orders option.
Enter the search criteria you wish to use to limit the Works Orders that are retrieved.
Click Display.
Auto Allocate
To Auto Allocate stock to the Works orders:
Tick the Include: Works Orders option.
Enter the search criteria you wish to use to limit the Works Orders that are retrieved.
Select the Auto Allocation method to be applied.
Select any additional allocation options that you wish to apply.
Click Display.
