Supplementary Information
Production Priority
The Production Priority assigned to a Works Order determines the priority of the order for component stock allocation. The system will allocate as much stock as possible to the works orders with the highest priority first, until all stock has been allocated or all works orders are fully filled.
Numbers range from 1 to 99, with the lower numbers indicating a more urgent requirement.
Production Sort Key
This sort key will be applied to the works orders generated by the wizard, this may help you to locate the works orders in Works Order Control.
Use specific route
The Default Route assigned to the Assembly Stock record will be used for any works orders generated by the wizard.
A specific route around the factory can be assigned for use by the wizard and this will be applied to all works orders generated by the wizard and will override any route settings found on the stock records.
If Use specific route is selected, an entry field will be displayed. Enter the route to be used or click on the pop-up list function to display a list of routes. Select from the list using a double-click.
Include in the works order notes:
Notes from the BoM - this option will copy the notes from the Assembly Stock record to the notes field attached to each works order.
Additional Notes - these notes will be copied into the notes field attached to each works order. If the notes from the BoM have been copied to the works order, these additional notes will be added unless the maximum field size has been reached.

Entering the required production finish date will enable the system to calculate the production start date.
