To delete a journal using Corrections:
Right-click the transaction and select Correct
Click Detail Lines
Click Edit
Double-click the line
Change the net values to 0
Click Save
Repeat this for the other detail lines, if there are any
Click OK
Close the Corrections window. The transaction should now be removed.
Note: On a bank type account. journals can only be corrected to change the monetary value so long as no other journal that shares the same header reference is reconciled
Additionally, once a journal has been deleted via this method, it cannot be retrieved.
