This error is usually caused by the user set in the Dimensions link for Asset Manager not having sufficient multi-period posting permissions. To check the user account set for the Dimensions link:
Click System, then click System Defaults.
Click the Access Link tab.
Note the user account specified in the link.
Also confirm that the Dimensions nominal codes Asset Manager is trying to export to are active:
Click Financials.
Click Accounts or Chart of Accounts.
Find the relevant nominal code.
Confirm the Inactive box is unticked.
The recommended configuration is as follows. In Dimensions:
Ensure the 'sa' user is on a duplicate of the default MASTER profile, with full future posting permissions enabled.
Ensure your own user record has the future posting permissions required for your role.
In Asset Manager, ensure the Access Link is configured with the sa user:
Click System, then click System Defaults.
Click the Access Link tab.
Confirm the sa user is set.
Also confirm your user record in Asset Manager's User Records is correctly configured. đ Note: Dimensions and Asset Manager must be on the same year and period, or Asset Manager must be the same or behind. Asset Manager can only post into the Dimensions open period or a future period. If force costing is enabled for any nominal accounts, costing information must be included in the transaction, otherwise this error appears on export.
