Login as the ‘sa’ or 'Hosting Admin' or a user with an equivalent or master security profile.
Ensure all other users are logged out of Dimensions.
Confirm all users are logged out at System Control > Users > User Records.
📌 Note: Take a recent backup of the Dimensions database before proceeding. If you are unsure how to do this, contact your IT service provider. Hosted customers have backups taken automatically every 15 minutes.
Click System Control.
Click Data Utilities.
Click Clear Multi-User Flags.
In the ‘Multi-User Flags’ window, tick the ‘All Multi-User Flags’ tick box.
Click the Green Tick.
This will run through and clear all the multi-user flags in the Accounts Database.
📌 Note: Read any messages that appear during the process.
🧓 Tip: If selecting All Multi-User Flags doesn't work, try selecting the affected module and system options individually.
This error can also be resolved by posting the affected transactions. If the issue persists, see Get support in Dimensions.
