Some Windows updates can cause crashing when emailing, you can test if it is just one PC or if it's the user having issues by logging in on another PC and printing from there.
If it's working OK on the other computer then it will have been caused by a recent update to the problem PC.
Please speak to your IT and provide them with the below steps:
Open the Start Menu.
Type in Updates.
Click Check for Updates.
Click on View Update History.
Click Uninstall updates.
Scroll down to the section Microsoft Windows.
Select the most recent updates that coincide with when the printing stopped working and click Uninstall.
Restart the PC and print again.
