Transaction Broker - Error - 'Could not log on to the database 'x'. Transaction broker is not registered for use with this 'y' database...'

This means that the licence applied to your Accounting Software is incorrect, and is missing the required module(s).

Please raise a new case online and reference the title of this article to request a new licence to include what is missing.

Note: Once the new licence is obtained, ensure that all users apply the new licence to their Accounting package, and log in as the 'sa' on first time log-in after applying the licence to correctly update the database.

Another thing that can cause this issue is the ODBC connection not being setup with the correct IP address/server it needs to be connected to.

To check this search OCBD in your windows search bar in the bottom left hand corner of the screen and launch the ODBC connection that is selected in Transaction broker under the datalink items.

Here you can check the ODBC details to make sure its connecting to the correct serve and the correct details are entered.
