You can view or print a previous VAT Return using the following process:
On the System tab, in the VAT section, click VAT Return.
From the drop-down list, click VAT Return.
Select the Printer icon.
On the VAT Return window, click New to bring up the options
This shows two options for reprinting a VAT Return
Reprint VAT Return (with reference)
Use this to reprint a VAT return based on the reference entered during the VAT Return process. VAT Returns originally generated within Dimensions always have a VAT Reference.
If known, enter the VAT Reference, or click the magnifying glass next to the VAT Reference, to select the relevant return.
Select the type of VAT Return you want to re-print
Set the output destination from the icons on the top left of the screen.
Click the green tick to reprint your return.
Reprint VAT Return (without reference)
All VAT Returns generated by Dimensions have a VAT reference. You can use this option to reprint a VAT Return that may have been generated without a reference. For example, upgraded data or data from a previous accounting system that you've imported into Dimensions.
A date or period range appears depending on what is available to you. Set the range accordingly.
Select the type of VAT Return you want to re-print
Set the output destination from the icons on the top left of the screen.
Click the green tick to reprint your return.
